The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and India’s Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES) is receving research proposals under the Indo-Swiss Joint Research Programme (ISJRP) 2026.
This prestigious bilateral programme supports collaborative research between India and Switzerland that focuses on critical geoscientific hazards in mountain regions.
This call is open to all the eligible research institutions in India and Switzerland. Proposals are to be jointly prepared by the Swiss and Indian applicants. Interested Researchers can submit proposals via the SNSF Portal before 8 April 2026.

climate change, and changes in the hydrology of the region. - Seismic hazards, earthquake-induced landslides, and glacial risks.
- Temperature changes and heat wave / cold wave evolutions in the mountains of India and Switzerland.
