Scopus regularly updates its source list to include high-quality, peer-reviewed journals from across disciplines. Scopus has recently released its latest August update on 10 September 2026.
In this update, Scopus has listed 19 journal titles accepted for inclusion in its database in September 2026. The newly accepted titles cover a wide range of subjects, including humanities, law, health sciences, business, engineering, agriculture, geophysics, and technology.
Moreover, Scopus has also removed 03 journals from its List to maintain quality standards in its indexed database.
Accepted journals include Springer, Elsevier, Wiley, and other publishers.
Scopus is owned by Elsevier B.V., and Elsevier is solely responsible for the content selection policy of Scopus.
To decide whether to accept or reject a title for Scopus, Elsevier follows the independent advice from the Scopus Content Selection & Advisory Board (CSAB). However, Elsevier, in consultation with the CSAB, reserves the right to change decisions, adjust the selection criteria, or re-evaluate titles accepted for Scopus without prior notice.
