The Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), in collaboration with the Ministry of Jal Shakti (MoJS), Government of India, is receiving research proposals under the Mission for Advancement in High-Impact Areas (MAHA) Water Program.
The program aims to support mission-driven research projects that address India’s critical water challenges through innovative technological solutions.
The MAHA Water Program focuses on sustainable water management, water quality improvement, climate resilience, drinking water accessibility, and efficient water use.
The selection process will follow a two-stage model: pre-proposal submission and full proposal submission. Applicants can submit pre-proposals online through the ANRF portal by 𝟭𝟬 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

Eligibility
Applicants must hold a regular position in an institution and must have a Ph.D. in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or relevant Social Sciences.
Each proposal must be submitted by a lead institution and will be headed by a lead PI.
Proposals must be submitted in consortium mode.
