The University of Hyderabad (UoH) has invited applications for the UoH–Harvard-Yenching Institute (HYI) Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme in China Studies for Indian researchers and scholars.
The fellowship is being offered by the Department of Political Science, School of Social Sciences, University of Hyderabad, in collaboration with the Harvard-Yenching Institute.
Candidates who have completed their PhD on or after January 1, 2021 can submit their applications. Eligible and Interested candidates can apply by 15 January 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must fulfil the following eligibility requirements:
- Applicants must be Indian citizens.
- Applicants must be affiliated with an academic institution or university in India.
- Applicants must have been awarded their PhD degree on or after January 1, 2021.
- Applicants must not hold permanent or tenured positions.
- Candidates with proficiency in Mandarin for academic research purposes will be highly preferred.

Selection Process
The selection process will include an online interview conducted by the UoH–HYI Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme Selection Committee.
The interview will be conducted through Google Meet or Zoom.
