The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) has invited applications from students for a 6-month paid internship at its Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL), Timarpur, Delhi.
The internship is scheduled to start from December 2026/January 2027 and will provide students with an opportunity to work in research areas related to advanced semiconductor materials and devices.
According to the official advertisement, 65 internship positions are available. Selected interns will receive a fixed stipend of ₹5,000 per month for 06 Months.

Candidates are required to submit the duly filled application form, along with a Character Certificate and recommendation letter/NOC from their institute.
Self-attested photocopies of relevant documents must also be attached.
A lady illiterate daily wager earns Rs 15000/- per month and male illiterate daily wager earns Rs.24000/- per month.
An Organisation like DRDO should not undermine the talent of engineering graduates and the stipend of Rs.5000/- is not justified and a minimum of Rs.50000/- should be given as stipend per month to the interns
