The Foundation for Advancing Science and Technology (FAST India) has launched the fourth edition of the fellowship.
The main aim is to encourage high-quality popular science writing and make scientific knowledge more accessible to the public.
The fellowship provides a grant of up to ₹10 lakh for one year.

What Does the Fellowship Offer?
Each fellowship carries a grant of ₹10,00,000. The fellowship is provided for 12 months.
Selected fellows can receive feedback from experts, including science authors, publishers and bestselling authors.
FAST India will engage with selected publishers in the Indian publishing ecosystem.
Eligibility
The fellowship is open to anyone residing in India who is interested in writing a book based on science and technology.
The fellowship focuses on popular science books in non-fiction. Applicants can propose:
