MoSPI Call for Research Proposals 2026 Under Grant-in-Aid Scheme

The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI), Government of India, has invited research proposals from eligible institutions under the Grant-in-Aid component of the Capacity Development Scheme.

Institutions working in statistics, economics, public policy, data science, artificial intelligence, governance, and related disciplines are encouraged to submit proposals.

A total of 13 research themes are currently open for submission, covering national accounts, surveys, alternative data sources, price statistics, data innovation, and governance.
