The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is inviting Indian investigators and institutions to contribute data from existing diabetes-related cohorts for a major Indo-US collaborative research initiative.
The program aims to advance research on the heterogeneity of diabetes and support the development of precision diabetes approaches.
The initiative is bringing together researchers from India and the United States to leverage existing cohort datasets for groundbreaking diabetes studies.
Both clinic-based and population-based cohorts are eligible.

Key Requirements for Cohorts
Eligible cohorts should ideally have:
- Adequate sample size
- Clinical and demographic information
- Metabolic and biochemical data
- Longitudinal follow-up data
- Treatment history
- Diabetes-related complications data
