To maintain the Scopus standard, Scopus keeps adding and removing research journals from its list. In September month, Scopus removed/ discontinued 8 journals from the list.
Elsevier B.V. owns Scopus and Elsevier is solely responsible for the content selection policy of Scopus. In order to come to a decision to accept or reject a title for Scopus, Elsevier follows independent advice from the Scopus Content Selection & Advisory Board.
Till September 2022, Scopus has discontinued 757 titles.
