The UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research (UGC-DAE CSR) has announced a Call for Collaborative Research Proposals (CRS) under its 3-year Collaborative Research Scheme.
The scheme aims to support Indian researchers by providing access to advanced research facilities of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE).
UGC-DAE CSR is an Inter-University Centre established by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Interested researchers can submit their proposals online by October 15, 2026.

- Dhruva Reactor at BARC
- Cyclotron at VECC
- Advanced research facilities at the UGC-DAE CSR Indore Centre
- Mumbai Centre
- Kolkata Centre
- Kalpakkam Centre
- Bhubaneswar Node
The proposal should clearly explain why the selected facility is necessary for the proposed research.
Who Can Submit Proposals?
The following researchers are eligible to apply as Principal Investigators:
- Permanent faculty members of UGC-approved universities
- Permanent faculty members of NAAC-accredited universities
- Faculty members of affiliated colleges
- Scientists/researchers from other Government of India-recognized research institutes
A researcher is eligible to submit only one proposal under this particular call.
