Web of Science Removed 12 Journals in September 2026: Full List

The Web of Science database regularly reviews journals for quality and editorial standards.

In the latest update, 12 journals have been removed from the Web of Science database for reasons including Editorial De-listing, Production De-listing, and Cease.

A few journals are also added to the Web of Science Core Collection (ESCI) in this update.

Journals Removed Due to Editorial De-listing

Editorial De-listing means that a journal has been re-evaluated and does not meet one or more of the applicable quality criteria, resulting in its removal from the Web of Science Core Collection.
