Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a PhD degree with first-class or equivalent grades in their preceding degrees in the relevant discipline.
PhD degree holders can apply within two years of completing their PhD.
Applicants’ age should preferably not exceed 35 years for males. The maximum age shall be relaxed by 5 years for reserved-category candidates & female candidates.
Fellowship Duration
The normal maximum duration of the fellowship is two years. In exceptional cases, it can be extended to a third year.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of:
- Shortlisting by the relevant academic unit.
- Presentation by shortlisted candidates on their proposed research work.
- Interview.
- Performance assessment during the fellowship.
