The University of Delhi (DU) has invited applications for admission to its Ph.D. programmes for the academic session 2026-27. This notification is for the students who have completed a four-year undergraduate programme from the University of Delhi or its colleges under the NEP/UGCF framework.
According to the public notice dated August 27, 2026, eligible students can register for the Ph.D. admission process until September 6, 2026.

Who can Apply?
Undergraduate students who have completed a four-year undergraduate programme at the University of Delhi or its colleges can apply for Ph.D. programmes for the 2026-27 academic session.
The minimum academic requirement is:
- UR/OBC-NCL/EWS: At least 7.5 CGPA
- SC/ST/PwBD: At least 7.0 CGPA

How to Apply?
Interested candidates can submit their applications through the University’s online application portal. The University has also advised interested candidates to apply for UGC NET/CSIR NET to avail themselves of the benefits of fellowship.
