The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) has invited online applications for the Senior Fellowship Scheme 2026-2027.
The fellowship is designed to support experienced Indian researchers who have made significant contributions to the field of social sciences.
Eligible scholars can submit their applications online from 22 June 2026 to 21 July 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
The scholar should be an Indian citizen and should be more than 45 years of age and less than 70 years of age.
The scholar must hold a Ph.D. Degree.
A fellow must affiliate himself/herself to UGC recognized Universities / Institutions. Funds are disbursed through the affiliating/administering institution.
