The Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, in partnership with Austria’s Federal Ministry of Women, Science and Research, invites proposals for India–Austria Joint Research Projects 2026.
This initiative encourages Indian and Austrian scientists to work together on innovative projects with real-world impact.
Interested researchers can submit their research proposals via the DST e-PMS Portal (online only) by 05 June 2026.

- Environmental & Earth System Sciences
- Life Sciences & Biotechnology
Eligibility
Faculty/scientists from universities or research institutions who are in regular employment are eligible to apply for this grant. They must collaborate with an Austrian partner.
Early Career Researchers are encouraged to apply.
