Nominations can be sent through email and Hard copy by 26 February 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
- Nominees must be renowned retired Indian social scientists and have not previously availed an ICSSR National Fellowship.
- They must have outstanding academic credentials and a good research record in terms of publications.
- A fellow must affiliate himself/herself to an ICSSR Research Institute or other approved research institute. Funds will be routed through the affiliating/administering institution
Nomination Procedure
- Nominations are invited from Vice-Chancellors of central and state Universities, Directors of the ICSSR Research Institutes/Regional Centres, present and former Council Members, and National Fellows of the ICSSR.
- Nominating individuals should not forward more than two nominations.
- Each nomination must include A letter of recommendation, a Curriculum Vitae of the nominee, Abstracts of 10 best publications, and a Research proposal abstract (around 1,000 words).
- Softcopy of the nomination may be sent to the email [email protected], and a hardcopy should be sent to the In-Charge, RFS Division, ICSSR, JNU Institutional Area, Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, New Delhi-110067.
