Tsinghua University has launched the Shuimu Tsinghua Scholar Program to attract scholars from around the world. It is a bright opportunity for early-career researchers to advance their academic careers at one of the world’s leading universities.
Scholars with good publications can submit their applications by March 2026.

Application Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Will obtain a PhD degree, or have obtained one within the last three years
- Must be recommended by the department
- Must commit to full-time work at Tsinghua University upon joining the program
- Only one application is allowed per year
Candidates will be evaluated based on their overall application quality, their academic & research ability, their research proposal, and the potential effect on the subject field.
Required Application Materials
Applicants must prepare the following documents:
- Shuimu Tsinghua Scholar Program Application Form
- Academic and research materials (scanned originals in PDF format).
- 2–3 letters of recommendation.
All documents must be compiled into one signed PDF (≤ 50 MB) and emailed to the department.
