The ANRF (Anusandhan National Research Foundation) is inviting research proposals under its Early Career Research Grant (ECRG) scheme to support young researchers across diverse scientific disciplines. This initiative aims to empower early-career scientists by providing financial assistance to establish independent research careers.
The online application process will open on 3 November 2025 and will close on 2 December 2025.
A maximum of 700 grants would be awarded per year across all subject areas.
Nature & Duration of support:
- Research grant up to Rs. 60 lakh plus overheads for a period of three years.
- International travel for project-related activities is also permitted.
Eligibility
The upper age limit is 42 years. However, a relaxation of three years will be provided to candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, physically challenged, and women categories. The age will be calculated as of February 1, 2024, instead of the date of submission.
The applicant should have joined the institution on or after February 01, 2022.
The applicant should be an Indian citizen
