The Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India invites research proposals in Hydrology and Cryosphere in the Indian Himalayan Region.
The MoES invites proposals for integrated research to generate critical databases and insights, enhance water security, mitigate climate-induced risks, and promote sustainable development in glacier-fed and rain-dependent regions.
About MoES
The Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), under the Government of India, is mandated to provide services for weather, climate, ocean and coastal state, hydrology, seismology, and natural hazards; to explore and harness marine living and non-living resources in a sustainable manner for the country and to explore the three poles of the Earth (Arctic, Antarctic and Himalayas).
Guidelines and Deadlines
- The proposals are to be formatted according to the guidelines provided below.
- A proposal has to be submitted by email ([email protected]).
- A project can vary from 3 to 5 years based on the project work.
- The last date for sending a proposal is 14th February 2025.
